I guess it’s one of promo boards, Elan makes ‘em for some brands(i’m sure they made some “Audi” decks, some Prodigy boards for Mobitel(SLOmobile company), not to sure about the rest), depends ofcourse on what are they looking for.
Not in “custom line”, but probably shaped as all-moutain freeride deck with custom graphic work they ordered, this decks are put together with same technological aproach as mid-low class boards and thereas have same performance. I’m sure they will do well for beginer,some urban rail slaying(heck,even I used some boards like that couple of years back) but I guess you will find out what you are looking for as you develop your riding.I’m quite sure it will be shaped diffrend and have some other characteristics…including price.

I don’t think Elan would make snowboards for commercial use only, and not thinking about the quality of the board. That would be bad for their own reputation.

ah, you never know…it could be a decent board. Head Snowboards had a Newcastle board, and it was one of their upper mid boards.

someone is selling an Elan Sprite Snowboard?? it’s covered with a Sprite design, anyone have any idea what model it would be… it’s $90 for it brand new in packaging.

Hey Kenrick! Yeah I saw freebords, actually quite a lot. Looks really fun, but my friend told me, you really need a good hill to ride it. Otherwise on straight roads or in parks he still prefers skateboarding :)

Getting hired somewhere else, so they can be fired again…

Yesterday i have been snowboarding in Snowplanet, and damn I sucked. I haven’t been doing it for over a month, so I needed some time getting used to. That went pretty well, and after a few descents I got the hang of it. But the snow there was soooo bad, and so damn slow. So when I tried the bigjump again, I made it, but only just. So I gave it another try, and i came up short. I couldn’t stand it so I gave it yet another try, which sucked so bad, i crashed and went head over heels about four times. thanks protection I was really pissed, so, as you might guess, I tried yet another time. The last jump wasn’t that good, but at least, I stayed up.

Thanks for listening to the story of my crappy session, and I am absolutely sure it will happen some other time soon!

my July was pretty uneventful. I worked all week….so thats about it. I worked two 14 hour days in a row. And now the head manager quit along with his girlfriend, so were kinda screwed today

Gee…I wish it was. would be much better. Every year I see the border of glaciers (Dachstein and Hintertux) get smaller and smaller. It’s so sad :(

yeah, spring and summer are great for riding if you can. I love it. There are no crouds, you can dress lightly, snow is great for park.

I dunno how long Mammoth is going to last this year though. We havent had decent snow in a long time. Mt Hood will be fine for sure though.
