What do you rock to?

Well, dachstein is getting near and I’m getting new music for my mp3. At home I listen to other things (rock,indie) but while riding electropop/clash gets me going :) and ofcourse music from snowboard movies :) So what music makes you stomp all your tricks? (or atleast gets a smile on your face while bailing :D )

Just yesterday I soiled my brand new mp3player with my music.

Everytime I end up using the same playlist, containing all sorts of punkrock and metal. Punk like Goldfinger, Blink-182… You all know the type, and metal like Megadeth, Iron Maiden, AC/DC.

a have a pretty strange music taste…..primary HIP HOP but i also love Michael Jackson or FALCO…

but i think hip hop is what pushes me most.

Mostly punk music for me. Agent Orange, Bad Religion, Offspring, NoFX, Autopilot Off, etc….
Of course some Rage Against the Machine, and I like alot of the Indie music too. Indie has some of my favorite songs.

oh rage against machine i sometimes also like. Maybe because it’s a mixture of hiphop and rock….

RATM are extremely fine for riding. Rap and rock sound togehter’s the best |-)

oh my favorite bads are: Zebrahead, Blink 182, Sum 41, S.O.A.D., F.O.B., and many others:) but these are gr8!!:D

And speaking of music… I told you about me and buying a new mp3player. Well I tried snowboarding while listening to it. Without succes… After reading the manual i found out it only has a working temperature from about 0 degrees celcius…... So now I have to find a way to keep it working at freezing temperature.

I would never think of checking some celsius level with my mp3. Didn’t even know that exists! But if you have it from inside your jacket, I think the temp will never be below 0. Your body produces enough warmth :)

wow never heard of smth like this too….so it doesn’t turn on when it’s minus degrees? my ipod just looses battery very fast if it’s really cold. in spring i can ride like almost 2 days without charging and if it’s really cold on the mountain i can’t even listen a single day…

Cameras are produced for use in cca 0°-30° and work in -10° too… Do you have AAA or built-in battery?

i think it should be a feature of daVinci’s mp3player but maybe not the best feature for a snowboarder :-)

first time i hear about something like this! of course my battery is faster empty in lower temperature but not turning off in lower temp. maybe this mp3 is cheap (don’t be offended) and that’s why it’s turning off :P:P

It was meant only as example. Sry, wanted to teach you that various batteries get low faster or slower. In cheap devices they haven’t such quality as the others. AAA’s you can just replace for other brand batteries, built-in battery block hardly. The other way is to sing by yourself :P;):)

I never had this problem too. Before this one I had a cheap ass mp3player from Aldi, and that worked fine. Even my MiniDisc player never had a problem. This one is from Creative. I have been using some Creative mp3players for 5 years now, and I have never had any problems with it.

I am beginning to doubt the fact it is the temperature… Maybe moist? Build error?

i had a 30gig creative zen extra, the cold slowed it down a bit, the newer zens are better all around i’m sure.. it broke when i dropped it, so i’m going to restart downloading:
alter bridge, paramore, green day, rolling stones, led zeppelin, red hot chili peppers, spineshank..

reading this…I think I should do a little music searching. There are bands I’ve never heard of and since snowboarders listen to them…they might not be bad :)
