J P WALKER goes Stepchild

Jp Walker leaves Forum and rides now the Stepchild stuff, they maybe don`t pay the same like forum but here he has more influence to the stuff and design i think..

Good riders will do whatever fits them best, gives them more flexibility and influence. Even start a new company…
But I’m not too sure about all new brands. What happened to Jeenyus, Morrow,...? I think too many brands are self driven just for the heck of it, meanwhile they don’t give enough attention to actual technological development and inovation in sport.

Jea that ´s right, i also heard for longer time nothing about Jeenyus..but i`m in suspense what happens with them and their video prod, because i saw trailers which were really hot!

I guess he is going to get a pro board that has a beveled edge like the 4.2 use to have.

Jeenyus is out of business I believe, and Morrow only made good board for a few years. Most of their boards are junk.

Burton bought up Jeenyus in 2004 & closed it down. Their boards weren’t that good anyway.

yeah, its probably better that they were shut down. They made some ugly boards too. I cant believe some of the crap that people buy

Yeah, it was a pseudo-snowboard company. Too little boards, ugly designs and not sure about the construction. I saw like one jeenyus, which looked ok. It just had this plaid topsheet design, nothing that would stand out too much.

I saw a whole lot of them here in California. People here bought them up. But Californians are ready to buy and start trends.
