Rail Jam Rijeka 19.1.2008

he. on 19th jannuary there will be a rail jam in croatia in the city of rijeka.

here the text i have got:

This is the first time in city Rijeka organizing International city contest in snowboarding. Competition will maintain on 2 elements, kink box and down rail. We are expecting around 40 competitors in qualification day and 16 invitation riders from all over the Europe. Prize money will be minimal 1500€ in cash which will be split on best 3 or 5 riders.

16 riders with invitation are going directly into the final contest and others need to go thru the qualifications. Qualifications for final contest with invited riders will be mountain on Platak, local ski resort in snowboard park on 18th January. The best 4 riders from qualifications go into the final contest. Qualification will be like a session, riders will scoring.

Final contest, 19th January, with the 20 riders (16 invitations +4 from qualification) qualification are scoring 3 judges and in finale going 8 best from qualification.Final will be knockout system and 8 riders will scoring between themselves.
