Rail Jam in Czech republic

Well, it’s kinda late, but if anybody would have time from wednesday till friday, there’s a really cool railjam in Czech republic. It’s called Peace forest rail jam. The whole thing takes place at a trade show in BRNO inside the main trade building. It’s very similar to what I once attended (check out photos of jib over jaguar). This time there will be a picnic table, some trees to jib and Ford Explorer with trees on top. So…all you jibbers out there come and give the trees a lil love :)

sounds cool but could you translate the programm? training and start of the contest? have i got that right that there are 3 contests? or is it one contest lasting for 3 days? maybe i’ll be there on friday.

It’s a contest that lasts 3 days :) The first 2 days are as follows:
Wed,Thurs:
12-13pm: training (riding to music)
14-15pm: best trick contest
15:45-16:45 – main contest of the day (also on thurs. BBQ for riders)

Friday:
12-13 training and best trick contest
14-15:30 Main contest of all 3days

the main contest on friday is it kind of a final or open for everybody? cause maybe i could leave at 12 o’clock from vienna. so i would be there at 14pm.

It’s open for everyone :) the only thing is..that it will all be new to you, so it’s easier if you try it out before. If you come, just make sure to fill out the registration form for friday. They’ll make a ticket for you and you’ll pick it up at the trade show. Otherwise you’d have to pay for entrance.

yeah the only problem is that i have to work until 12 o’clock. we’ll see. thanks for the tip

Yeah I don’t really know why the main contest is on friday…usually they are on saturdays so that everyone can come :/

... but please keep us up to date about contests in your country… haven’t been riding in Czech Rep. and would love to do it :)

Yeah,yeah, I will. Sorry about writing this event so late…I didn’t know about it either…even thought I should have been one of the first to be notified :(

Wouldn’t have changed anything for me to know about it earlier, would have to work this week anyway…
By the way, wasn’t today the first day of the event? have you been there?

Yeah today was and nope I’m not there since I have school and tomorrow I’m leaving for the mountains, but I will be speaking to some riders via cell phone, so I’ll write what it’s like :)
