Time has come to find out where to go next winter.

Therefor I am interested to see where everybody is going this season.

Because I am going foreign to Sweden for education in Januari, I will have to leave December 20th. I want to go to Sölden, but me and my group will decide together.

I will keep you posted!

Not Europe this time? ;)

Fox_logo_icon cheshirefoxxx 340 post(s)

i probably wouldn’t survive europe =}

Me_elan_tiny_icon Pav 387 post(s)

sure you would survive..just buy the fox manual for Europe and you’ll be fine ;)
Hmm..winter? well I’ll stay in the czech mountains if we have snow. I find it inefficient to go abroad and spend more money, when I have snow on my mountains. The only place I might go is slovenia, maybe february or maybe to a spring session that jpavli will throw :)

pssch, i wrote that manual…. it’s just all in english =x
you can be the real hero of the day and provide me with a euro guide/translator
otherwise i’m just that ignorant ill educated middle american

Lol, I see your point. Most dutchies speak German enough to get them to understand it. Same with French (though I suck at it).

But I think it would be lame to think you need to speak the language of the country you’re visiting. That would mean for every week you go abroad, you need to learn an entire language… If it were possible it would be cool, but I don’t see it happen. And in that case you are lucky you live in the US.

I will be moving back to Tahoe with more money then I have had this last year, and probably get a season pass for Alpine Meadows. I will be working at the same sports shop I did this year, so I will have a shop pass for Heavenly, Sierra, and Kirkwood, So I figured I should just get a pass for one of the North Shore resorts.

I’m thinking about taking over “event planing”,shaping and snowboard teaching in snb park Rogla for about 2 months.

Elan_s_icon DaVinci 55 post(s)

That would be kickass!

After all we will probably be going to Zell am Ziller, next to Gerlos.

haha…foxyfox, most of the time all you need is english;) that will get you around. We here in Europe actually do learn it;)
As for G, hey man, hope your season will be much better than your last. This time you already have a job certain and money, so whish ya good luck;)

after i came back from eastern europe trip one thing is for sure: to go to eastern europe more often in winter. VERY sick rails and also very good mountains.

Okay we booked! This time we will be in Zell Am Ziller in Austria. This village is next to Gerlos and Königsleiten in Zillertal Arena in the periode from 20 december to 27 december.
