Elan Eragon CROWN 157

Hi,
recently I bought a elan eragon crown 157 board (it’s an entry-level board)
My intent was to buy a 157cm length board but when I measure it I discovered that the total length is 152cm (??)
I can’t find information about this board.
This site shows only the board called eragon (not eragon crown) with different graphics and different length (there’s not the 157 cm size) and also the elan catalogue 2007/2008 doesn’t show it.
Can somebody help me to find technical data about this board? (like the length of effective edge)
I’m tall 183cm and my weight is 70kg. Is this board correct for me?

The board is probably being measured from tip to tail. like if you were to flatten out the entire board where the tip and tail where flat, it would measure 157 cm

i guess board will do fine. you should measure it from tip to tail along whole length of base.

Thanks for the replies but…... if I measure the board keeping the tape-measure well laid on the lower surface of my board the length is 154cm.
When I see the number 160 (for example) on other board I know that the distance from nose (tip) to tail is 160 cm. Am I wrong?
I don’t think that elan snowboards are different. What about your boards?
Are the number wrote on your boards different from the nose-tail distance?
