My brandnew ELAN SETUP

finally i got my full elan setup consisting of the ANSWER i allready reported about, the NEON binding i haven’t tried yet and the ELEMENT Boot which i tried on sunday for the first time. and i can tell you: IT’s GREAT…I had a boot in which my feets hurt like hell and snowboarding wasn’t that funny anymore. My Achilles tendon was swollen all the time and it hurts that much…so i was afraid that my feet wouldn’t like the new boots. but i stepped into them and my whole body was SOOOOOOO happy about it. no pain anymore. The first run it was a bit strange but after that it was so much fun. Tried a few new tricks and even if i did not land all of them it wasn’t as painful.

SO THANKS ELAN FOR THIS GREAT BOOT

element, eh? rather high-endish.. i don’t think i could go without a traditional comfort wrap.. how was the quick-fit?

first i was really confused about it. it took a time to handle it. after the first run i recognized that one boot isn’t really taff so i stopped and tried to close the boot on the slope. it was ok…not worse than a traditional boot, and i think if the system is a bit more common it’s better than a traditional boot..

...YEAH, haven’t seen somebody riding with such a big smile like rockafella yesterday with his new ELAN ELEMENT :)

by the way, I’ve been riding the trinity now for about a moth and it really keeps its promises…. it’s reeeeally light, perfect for rails but works for powder as well, and of course looks great :)

This Elan Answer is probably my favorite board of all time next to the Artec .1

it’s definitly a sick setup. on saturday i’ll have my next ride…yeah…
