so it seems the ashbury goggles are coming along.. anyone interested in these so far? i myself don’t wear goggles too often, but would be interested in a pair that offer comfort, maximum visual, and low light lenses in sexy colours.. so what’s Your goggle preferences.. |

The most annoying thing about googles is, that you just get one lens (or maybe one extra lens). I have a Smith google. Got it from a friend of mine with 4 extra lenses. That’s the most important thing for me. not that i’m changing lenses everytime but it’s cool to have one lense for poor light conditions like night sessions and one for very sunny days. And reserve lenses for those two so if one is scratched it’s not that big deal. |

i have a pair of spy targa || and the amber lense is just too dark to me.. it’s more like brown beer bottle lense.. peach lense would be nice |
|
|
they sell that orange one for cheap. The Targa lens dont cost much at all. |

I have been favoring Spy for years. I had the Scoop when they first came out. Back then they were a high end goggle. I paid around $100 for them. Now, they are their lower end one and sell for $40. But I have the Orbits and the Soilders. I also have the Eletric EG1 and those things have been holding up for three or four years now. For the best visibility I think the Oakly A frames work the best. I bought those when they first came out 7 or 8 years ago. I cant believe I still have those goggles too. They have lasted a good many years. |

maybe ‘ll just pick up a new pair with persimmon |

Well, as for ashbury – I heard of it for the first time here. When I checked out the myspace page, they had just a few types of goggles, so I guess it’s quite new. I’d probably wait till they get a name of a “serious” company. Not one of those stars that go dim quite fast. Oakley – most of the people I know have troubles with the foam, that it falls apart. As for electric – their EG.2 has a VERY wide view. I tried them from a friend and saw completly everything. |

well i really like the new firm called the shred goggles ,which are owned by ted ligety ,although he is an alpine ski racer the goggles are stylish and unique.check the site and give me a feed back:) |

Well..here’s the link to those shred :) http://www.shredoptics.com/products/index.html and they don’t look bad, but not sure I’d choose from those 4 colors. |

shreds are sick. I’m stickin’ to my Smith Fuse…they work good. |

Smith makes a good goggle. The Smith Regulators were my first goggle in ‘96 when i first started snowboarding. Those goggles were $120 then, and I bought them with money I made working at the coffee house |

Just tried my friends VonZippers. They also seem good. Fit in the helmet perfectly and they have awesome designs for next season :) |

I just bought the Anon Figments. I have wanted those for a couple years and finally bought them. They are pretty sick. |
